You can purchase a copy of the film from www.learmedia.ca ... Search for "Wee Geordie"

I saw it at I, Magpie (www.imagpie.com). They're best as far as I'm concerned for those little Brit flicks I love like this one. We need more movies like Wee Geordie, Whisky Galore, I know Where I'm Going, Local Hero....sigh...be still by gentle heart...

I could not find it at I, Magpie. It has a very messed up website. When I click on "w" or "g" for Wee Geordie or Geordie, it would bring me to the "t" section. Oh well, at least I could find it and order it at www.learmedia.com.

I agree with you. Saw Geordie when I was a kid on the public television station in Chicago and haven't seen it since. It's #2 on my wish list of dvds to find. I did find Local Hero at Barnes and Noble. I know my local B&N does have a copy. #1 on my wish list is A Matter of Life and Death and I would like to find "Ladies Who Do" and "The Green Man" I do like those little British comedies as well!

I'm watching it now - its being broadcast in Canada on Bravo

If you go to Amazon.ca, you can order a non-region encoded DVD of Geordie. Now if I could only find a copy of the Bridal Path, another Frank Launder film starring Bill Travers. [email protected]
