Representation of the Criminal, A level study.

Hi fellow film buffs.

I am currently carrying out my A Level Media coursework, and I am interested in your opinions surrounding the representation of the criminal, and how we identify with them.

In Rififi, we feel ourselves wanting the criminals to get away with the goods and have a "happy ending" but Dassin does not give us this.

Any opinions, feelings, even thoughts on the film would be very useful to my research, or any help regarding my research would be much appriciated.
