Can anybody recommend some more french noir? I really liked this one. THanks!

I don't know if it's considered "french noir" but Diabolique is great too, made the same year as Rififi.

“Le samourai”, directed by Jean-Pierre Melville, is far and away the best I’ve seen. Once you’ve seen that, you can see where Tarantino got a LOT of his inspiration (which I think he has admitted to at least some degree).
