71 people gave this a '1'

I'm sure this people had to watch Pulp Fiction repeatedly to wash out the foul taste of this movie, so devoid of the "slick" production values, the crappy quick cuts of MTV movies, and completely lacking any great actors like Josh Hartnett and Bruce Willis.
Shame on this movie for being a masterpiece. It's a total ripoff of Resovoir Dogs, man.

what people want to see now is action and seats with beverage holders, but mainly action. they could have had a scene where mel gibson tries on lots of silly hats, and make it all go in fast motion, everybody likes that.

why are we even going after the idiot demographic?

reply

LOL! You mean like a Mel Gibson "we're going shopping" 80's montage?? You seriously cracked me up with that

Peas,
Ben

P.S. Yes it's sad, some people just can't handle movies that have...oh what is it....pacing and character development!

reply

i like movies with puppy dogs and the cars that run over them.

reply

I like dogs that drive cars.

reply

I like dogs that drive cars that run over prints of Ben Stiller movies.

I gave this movie a 10 to compensate for the ones, which really describes the memtal capacity of those who gave this movie a 1. I dreamed of Paris all night after watching this movie. Any movie that does that deserves a high ranking.

reply

That's cheating!

I was going to give it a 7, cause I think it deserves it. Now I'm going to give this movie a three to compensate for you giving it a ten to compensate for the ones.

reply

I haven't even seen this movie, but I'm going to give it a 5 to compensate for everyone compensating for everyone. :p

Ha ha ha.

Common dont diss Pulp Fiction. So many people hate on this movie becuase it bridges the gap between Film and Movie. It is still great. However, Rififfi is better.

reply

Any film that gets into IMDb's top 250 automatically collects a lot of 1s--especially if it's old, black & white, and foreign. Probably most of the people who voted 1 haven't even seen this film.

Millennials and X'rs are "lucky" enough to be treated to corporate and Pentagon approved dreck in cinema. Many have not even been exposed to classic movies and therefore have no points of reference. After all, many of the great ones were made by dirty, rotten, Commies.

It's all part of the ongoing dumbing-down of the populace to accept militarism, a constant state of war and behaving like good little Germans circa 1931 in the National Security State of America.

I gave both Rififi and Pulp Fiction a 10, so implying that you can't like both seems ridiculous. They are two of the best films ever made in my opinion, but obviously for very different reasons.
