If you read this, their both about even. I would actually recommend Les Doulos, by Melville.

I know I'm posting this answer 2 years late, but to me, not even close. Rififi blows Touchez pas au Grisbi out of the water.

A more interesting comparison would be between Grisbi and Bob le flambeur. The latter plays out like a fantasy version of the former.

Touchez pas au grisbi. IMO: not melodramatic like Rififi, with the performances far more perfect.
