Probably the worst of the seven......

Just watched all seven of the movies in the series - "Doctor at Sea" is probably the worst of the seven. Might this be because JRJ doesn't portray Sir Lancelot? I think not, but that would be a tidy excuse. The absence of a plethora of nurses might be a better explanation!

The filmmakers must have realised something didn't quite gel - two years later they reunited the main players from the original "Doctor in the House" to make "Doctor at Large" - in my opinion the best of the seven.

Nah IMO this is one of the best. If you think this is the worse, then Doctor in Trouble and Doctor in Distress are gems. When in fact the last one is worse, and Doctor in Distress is a one trick pony. Doctor at Sea had me bursting out laughing and really added to the series.

I actually like this one the best. the first three films I think were made in the same order as the first three doctor novels, but after those three they abandoned any attempt to resemble the books.

Their mistake- should have filmed the books in order and the way they were written.
