Does anyone remember a movie with a very similar plot with Glenn Ford as the Dad? I could swear it was the same movie but the only remake I find is from the 90s and apparently not very good. Maybe I dreamed it or it was only a like plot but it is driving me nuts.

Check out "Experiment in Terror" (1962), directed by Blake Edwards.
