Ashamed I'd never seen it

As a huge noir buff, I'm ashamed to say I just watched this for the
first time last night. Oh, my... what a beauty. When it started,
thoughts of Ed Wood entered my mind. They were quickly pushed aside by
the stunning film work and soundtrack. This thing is a lost gem, no
doubt about it.

It blew me away. I put on another old noir afterwards, and I couldn't
watch it. It just seemed so drab and ordinary next to what I'd just
watched.

Today is another day, and the beauty of this film is still in my head.

Agree 110%. 

I wish I could purchase a top-quality copy of the film on DVD/Blu-ray, but it doesn't appear to be in print anymore, with all used copies going over $50. 

A Superman without trunks isn't worth watching or reading about.

I'm a 58-year-old film buff who's been watching horror movies since kindergarten, and I had never heard of Dementia till yesterday. I just finished watching it on YouTube. All I can say is "Where has this been all my life?"
