Yeahh...

Dementia was credited to John Parker, but was in no way directed by him nor was he the screenwriter. Director and screenwriter of this film was Bruno Ve Sota, John Parker produced the film and took part in the artwork.

How do you know this?

She was a bowling trophy etcher and met everyone involved in it.

I have read that it is believed De Sota probably directed DOH because not much of anything is known about Parker but I've never seen it stated as a fact!

Parker's son commented on Netflix about his dad directing the film and that his mother and sister were both in it.

I once read an interview with Bruno VeSota in which he claimed to have directed much of the film, but I don't think this has ever been corroborated. I have to say, after viewing some films that were directed by VeSota (THE BRAIN EATERS, INVASION OF THE STAR CREATURES) I'm skeptical of his claim about DEMENTIA/DAUGHTER OF HORROR.
