Science fiction?

Why is this movie in Universal's classic Sci-Fi collection? I don't see any science fiction in it at all. IMDb too lists it as horror only.
It seems to have been more appropriate had Universal put another movie in the DVD box (This Island Earth, It Came from Outer Space), even though such movies might have had a standalone DVD release already.

Still, good flick though.

This is horror fantasy with no SF. Faith Domergue was in some SF type films of this time so I would think the DVD set compilers may have took this into consideration.
