CULT OF THE COBRA has just been released as part of Universal's Sci-Fi Ultimate Collection, Vol. 2. As reported on the other thread, this set also includes DR. CYCLOPS, THE LAND UNKNOWN, THE LEECH WOMAN and THE DEADLY MANTIS.

CULT is widescreen (as are THE LEECH WOMAN, both 1.85:1, and LAND UNKNOWN at 2.35:1) and all the films have pristine prints, including DR. CYCLOPS in gorgeous Technicolor. At present the set is only available at Best Buy for $19.99 (less than $4 per title), but like Vol. 1 will probably end up available elsewhere later on. A great deal!

Great release and a very good price. Hope It Conquered The World, Night The World Exploded, and Most Dangerous Man Alive, and Macabre will somehow appear on the market.

babettegillette: No luck yet with It Conquered the World, but The Night the World Exploded is now available from Sony's answer to Warner Archives, the Columbia Classics Collection, and Macabre is available from Warner Archives itself. Most Dangerous Man Alive can be gotten at Sinister Cinema.
