Cult of the Cobra (1955) will be shown on Svengoolie on MeTV on Saturday, 16 July 2016, at 9PM Central Time. 

This is one of my favorite horror movies, and it's been a little over a year since Sven has shown it. 

It stars the gorgeous Faith Domergue, and also features a very lovely Kathleen Hughes. 

Five of the six male stars went on to star in their own successful TV series:

Marshall Thompson - Daktari
Richard Long - The Big Valley, Nanny and the Professor
Jack Kelly - Maverick
William Reynolds - The FBI
David Janssen - The Fugitive, Harry O, O'Hara: U.S. Treasury

The sixth male star, James Dobson, appeared on numerous TV series and also had a regular role in a 1957 western TV series that lasted only one season: Boots and Saddles.

Marshall Thompson and Richard Long were brothers-in-law. Marshall had married Richard's sister, Barbara, in 1949. They remained together until his death in 1992.

Cult of the Cobra is a great movie to watch on a Saturday night. After you have seen it, you will make sure all your windows are closed before you go to bed. 

I also remember this was a great film
definitely a popcorn movie favorite here as well   .

Oh PS - Actor Richard Long was also on the well remembered TV Show
" The Twilight Zone " from 1959  .

The Nanny and the Professor was another favorite of mine too   .

Most definitely agree jamesbwill this is a real good one  .

Snacks are very much in order for this classic fun gem of a film  .

I just noticed that it will be on tonight so I looked it up. Can't remember if I have seen it or not. Sounds like my kind of 50's horror flick.

btw...Richard Long was brother in law of Marshall Thompson.

I had the chance to work with Michael Jackson who was as brilliant as they come.

Olan Soule has 252 acting credits according to IMDB. He's very recognizable on many TV shows from the 1950s through the 1970s. He was always the bridesmaid.

I just watched this movie on MeTV with Svengoolie. I did like seeing the future television stars as well as Svengoolie's skits. However, although I grew up watching a lot of horror movies, this movie bored me.
