It appears that the DVD for "Conquest of Space" is out of print. Anyone know the story on this? I was looking to buy this one as I collect classic science fiction movies, partciularly George Pal productions. Surprised to see that it wasn't available. Any info would be appreciated.
shareI own a copy, and find that hard to believe. I bought it maybe 5 years ago, and I think it had just been released. And it was like only 5 bucks. You think they would have to keep it available to make any money, since its probably not the most requested title....
shareVirtually all the classic films Paramount released on DVD during the past decade are now out of print. But you can still find most of them without too much problem.
As of this date (11/11/11), Conquest of Space is still available from Movies Unlimited (moviesunlimited.com) and from many sellers on Amazon Marketplace, at varying prices. I suppose it can also be found on eBay and other such sites.
It's available brand new through Amazon with free shipping for 9 bucks. Or there's about 75 available used for $4.50 through Amazon's market place.
Jeez. it takes less effort to find the disk than it does to ask on a forum.
