Yes, Escape to Victory was better. At least, the football was better.

Have to agree I'm afraid. Tried to do too much in too little time. Concentrating on one escape would have made for more tension (as in 'The Great Escape').

Yes I tend to agree. It was much of a muchness. I would have liked to have seen the focus on Reid and his buddy and find out how they got home from Colditz. It's all left open-ended to us and we only end up with a postcard and a footnote to the film.
