Looking forward to the July DVD release
Edward G. Robinson is a Canadian inspector involved in a classic game of cat and mouse with a deported American gangster (George Raft, known for the original Ocean's Elevenand Some Like It Hot), unlocking a web of mystery from behind the Iron Curtain. I consider George Raft as being in the second tier of classic gangster/film noir actors, below Robinson, Bogey, and Cagney. Still, he had his particular style...maybe too wooden for some, but he established a particular type.
I killed him for money and for a woman. I didn't get the money... and I didn't get the woman.
