What Discipline Problem?

The one fact that really sat wrong with me was this school maybe because of the principals refusal to accept how out of order it was just was totally over ran by the worse. The amount of total crap and disruption they were allowed to get away with was over the top. I have a hard time accepting things would be allowed to get as bad as they did. Look how much crap he took before he finally was going to take the kid to the principal.

As a teacher it's incredibly realistic. When you have a principal who won't admit a problem or support the teachers because disciplining the students results in data about the school, teachers end up taking abuse from kids and helplessly putting up with unacceptable behavior because they know it will be a bigger problem if they try to refer to principal.

Major disciplinary actions must be documented and reported to the district office.
This principal wanted his school and by implication his control of the school to look good, therefore no reports = no problems.

That principal was certainly ignoring the discipline problems in that school. He probably had no idea how to deal with those problems.
