The awful film that also inspired another awful film, The Goddess
It's hard to believe that as bad as this film was, it might've inspired another equally bad film. Yet it did. If you loathe this movie, don't watch The Goddess. It features the same level of heavy-handed proselytizing about how "messed up" Hollywood is, with equal amounts of scenery chewing (this time with Kim Stanley) and the stuffy blocking of a broadway play.
