Did she burn him?

In the scene where Marie Windsor tangles with the real Mummy, after she wastes all her bullets and throws her gun at him, she wards him off by beating him with a torch. At one point, the fiery end of the torch hits the Mummy - or rather - the actor playing the Mummy - right in the head near his eye. I couldn't help but wonder if it burned him.

"Don't call me 'honey', mac."
"Don't call me 'mac'... HONEY!"

I've never read or heard anything about Eddie Parker being burned in the film, though it is highly possible. We all know how much the actors who played the classic monsters went through(particularly the ones playing the mummy). Christopher Lee is a great example of how demanding playing the mummy was.
