Leota Van Cleef

The female lead, Lynn Bari, plays the role of Leota Van Cleef. That sounds like a play on words with actor Lee Van Cleef's name. Lee was one of the bad guys in "High Noon", his first role. By the time "Abbott and Costello Meet the Keystone Kops" came out in February 1955 Lee had been in over 30 movie or TV roles. His career really took off in 1955 when he had over 17 credits that year, though they were almost all after "Keystone Cops" came out.
