Voice from a flickering flame

There is an episode from one of the '50's sci-fi series, in which a man communes with a voice which comes from a flickering flame, on the table in front of him. I'm sorry I don't remember much about the show, but it has somehow stayed with me for all these years. Does anyone remember it, and if so, was it a SFT episode, or from some other weekly presentation? (It strikes me Truman Bradley actually starred in this installment, so I've posted my query here at SFT). Thanks for any help you can give me !

I just finished watching both seasons of SFT and do not remember anyone, including Truman Bradley, having a conversation with a flickering flame. He did many experiments before the episodes, some with fire or explosions, but as far as it being part of an episode, I didn't see it.

Say, thank you so much. You are a trooper for going through all those episodes, although it seems you are a fan. Well, I guess the riddle remains unsolved, but we'll keep trying. Again, very nice of you to research this !
