Holy smokes!! Wyatt's handing out speed!

In the episode 'The Bounty Killer', Wyatt & Trevor Bardette plan on tracking a hired killer who's bushwacking small time cattle rustlers. Trevor complains that he's too tired to go and needs a night's sleep. So Wyatt hands him a pill and tells him that they will be able to trail the killer for three days without sleep once they take these pills. Wyatt says that he's used them a few times in tracking down outlaws.

Caffeine pills, not speed.

By the way, how`s your mom, Ed?

Speaking of drugs, I just watched an episode of Adam-12 (1st season, Log 32: "Jimmy Eisley's Dealing Smack"). William Mims (Damron, editor of the Tombstone Nugget) plays drug dealer Jimmy Eisly who sells heroin to a junkie played by Stacy Harris (Clum, editor of the Tombstone Epitaph and mayor of Tombstone during the last season of Wyatt Earp). Old TV sure has these great connections: two actors play bitter enemies on one series, and then a pusher and his client in another. I love it.

Promise her anything, but give her a Pez!

Even LSD was legal into the late 1960s.

Rosco and LSD would not have been a good combination!!
