Did he marry Roscoe and move to Key West?

I've been watching the series on Cozi TV. They appear to be airing the episodes out of sequence, although lately they've mostly been running the Tombstone episodes. I didn't know Shotgun Gibbs (Wyatt's fictional deputy in the series) followed Wyatt to Tombstone. I thought he was just in the Kansas episodes. In any event, I see him in some of the Tombstone episodes as Wyatt's sole deputy, then later he's joined by Morgan Earp. I know that by the time of the climactic five-episode miniseries-within-the-series, the Earp forces are back to the historical Wyatt, Morgan, Virgil and Doc. What happened to Shotgun? I hope they didn't kill him off. He's a likeable character.

Watching Cozi this morning and the episode concluded Gibbs character on the show.
He falls in love with a widowed woman who has two kids and Wyatt fires him
As his deputy because he loves him and knows that the widow cared about him too.
Doc also knows out of compassion that Gibbs deserves to be loved. So in the end, Gibbs rides off with the widow forgiving Wyatt for firing him as the widow explains
That Wyatt did it because he loved Gibbs and didn't want to see him get killed in the long run. It was a nice episode especially seeing Wyatt's painful expression as he watches Gibbs leave after having to fire a man he's loved as a close friend for years.

So, a thought crossed your mind? Must have been a long and lonely journey

Me too. It was a nice thing Wyatt did, and good to see Gibbs do so well.
