THIS has cancelled HIGHWAY PATROL

Yet SEA HUNT with the same 155 episodes, still runs

Ive watched SH and HP regularly for what? 8 years, Sun-Thur at 2.00am PST on THIS

And still every now and then find an unseen episode!

I noticed that more and more THIS was pre-empting HP on certain nights

please write to THIS to bring it back.

Right now they have THE RAT PATROL in that timeslot.

and OT, i cannot stand their new sister station COMET! what a load of crap!

low budget big hair/synth movies for the 1980s mostly

and they show 3 movies to death each week

They cancelled it at least once before and brought it back, but yeah, Sea Hunt always seems to be there. HP never gets old for me either, there are enough eps to keep it somewhat fresh. I don't think Rat Patrol was on too long originally, so maybe this won't last.

The Beatles never were all that great, but after their second movie, they were beyond Help.

I miss it too. But as long as it gets recycled back into the line-up in the next year or two, thats okay with me.

I contacted THIStv after the first time they removed the series and they told me that it would return once they had added Closed Captioning to the episodes. When it came back, they removed the epilogues that Crawford closed each show. Now I see they're doing the same thing to Sea Hunt. Bridges always added an epilogue at the end talking about the then-new sport of scuba diving. Those are chopped off now, too.

There were two motorcycle episodes and it seemed like This only showed the one with Clint Eastwood.

Hopefully it returns to the schedule soon!

I noted the picture quality is low even at the 480 setting. I compared it to a few episodes I recorded over the air when it was on THIS TV. Still better than nothing, and I see the epilogue was present on the one I looked at.
