Well American Life has pulled the plug early

I thought they were going to stop showing the Warners Shows October 1st. But tongiht, (9/6), the westerns are gone and have been replaced by two of the worst shows ever, Lost in Space and Time Tunnel. Yeech.

I tuned in to see Maverick and saw that Irwin Allen had taken over the night with not only the shows you mentioned, but also Voyage To The Bottom of the Sea and Land of the Giants.

I was also enjoying the private eye series for years, but only my favorite 77 Sunset Strip is left among them as Lawman is the only western left.

Oh well, at least I won't be seeing the ads for the Hoveraround or the Sonic Hearing device that much anymore.

Well now they have officially ditched 77 Sunset Strip as well. I guess they think they can bring in new audiences with the new crop of shows which all stink in my opinion, with the exception of the exceptional "Burke's Law"!

Now no WB Westerns or Detective shows, that's real weak American Life TV.

With the exception of Burke's Law, there is only one show left that I occasionally watch on ALTV and that's The Lone Wolf. Looks like 20th-Fox backed up the truck as Batman, Green Hornet, the Irwin Allen sci-fi shows on Thursday and even the Four Star shows (Big Valley and Burke's Law are all distributed by Fox. 12 O'Clock High is yet another, and another one worth watching, but I'm usually out on Tuesday nights.
