stick cartoon figures

This is a really poor description, but does anyone know what the clip Captain Kangaroo would show (usually at near the end)? From what I can recall (I'm 54 so it's been a while), they seemed to have looked like stick figures.

Tom Terrific, with Mighty Manfred, the Wonder Dog! There weren't stick figues, but they were pretty basic line drawings. I remember that one of his enemies was either Mister Cylinder or Master Cylinder. I'm 52, BTW, so it's been a while for me, too!!!

"Tom Terrific" was created for the Captain's show and was produced by Terrytoons. The villain I remember was named Crabby Appleton.

Crabby Appleton is correct ? the Master Cylinder was the villain in the Felix the Cat cartoons.
