Just started watching this

I received the 35 disc, 7 season boxset of this (UK version) earlier this week.

I'm three episodes in and I have to say, it's so good even though each "play" is only 25 minhtes long 😎

I had seen parts of the series growing up, reruns on TV, and I'm looking forward to watch the whole thing over the coming months.

I think I'll get Hitchcock's other series, the 'Hitchcock Hour' one as well as I already have most of his movies.

I think I've posted on the wrong boards. I put mine on the Hitchcock Hour boards instead of here.

I too have just started this Renovatio and am also 3 episodes in - what are the chances?

Good to see we're on the same page!

Favourite of the first three?

Mine is the third one but they were all so, so good. Particularly Hitchcock's quips at the beginning and end
What he ways after the third episode was particularly hilarious to my mind
It has been on my shopping list for some time now... I picked it up with an order of blu rays and UHD discs, all movies apart from this.

I liked the second episode the most, so far, as it had that sense of disorientation and mystery...

The third episode was fun. Gotta love Hitchcock's sense of humour and commentary 😉

If the commentary keeps up to the level of the first three I think I'm more than a happy bunny about starting this boxset 😉

The only thing about Hitchcock's commentaries that bothers me is that a lot of his of epilogue statements were mandated by the network standards and practices department that if the villain of the story appears to have not been apprehended or discovered, Hitchcock must state that later justice triumphed and they didn't "get away with it."

Because of that, when I get around to watching these again I'm going to skip watching the 2nd commentaries.
