RIP Robert Horton

The handsome, underrated Robert Horton ("Wagon Train") passed away at
age 91 on March 9. Horton, of course, made some terrific appearances
on AHP. "A Bottle of Wine", with Herbert Marshall and Horton, is
very good, among others. But my all-time fave is Horton and Fay
Spain in fourth season's "The Last Dark Step." A truly masterful
episode.

RIP.

Oh! I love Robert Horton. RIP. He always reminds me of Peter Bergman from Young and the Restless with his hairstyle and facial structure. I think of him as Bergman's grandpa.

He brought us many enjoyable stories.

Oh that's so sad. He was one of my favorite regular players and 'Crack of Doom' is definitely in my top 5.

Crack of Doom was the only RH episode I knew about before these other two. Yeah, it's a keeper. I'd add Last Dark Step to it now. RIP Robert Horton.

The Last Dark Step was wicked. Both Horton's and Fay Spain's characters were murderous, but Spain's Leslie character was smart enough to have an alibi. I didn't see any way out for Brad as he could not establish where he was.

Bottle of Wine was uncomfortable. At least the judge was gentlemanly enough to pour some in his cup after opening before serving. It must've been an old top notch wine before killing or else it would've been tres gauche. What wine do you recommend to go with an important murder? You can't go wrong with this vintage unlabeled Montelago from Spain for those special occasions. Very smooth, rich and intense.
