1990s tv-movie remake

In the 1990s there were 2 made-for-tv movies put together from the series, I think "greatest adventures" with colour and music added.. I had it taped on VHS from when it aired on YTV but the tape has deteriorated over the years and I can barely find trace that these movies ever existed, nevermind where to find them... does anybody have any leads? I would REALLY appreciate it, they were a big influence on my childhood. I've tried watching the original series from the 1950s but without the colour or music it's just not the same.

I don't want to get your hopes up, but ... around that time late 1980's early 1990's I bought a commercially available VHS tape (in the US) with three episodes from the series spliced together into one story arc movie. It was colorized and had dramatic music added, not from the series. The lyrics were themed about the need for heroes. The story arc centered around plotting by Prince John. Let me search around the mess that is my house, and try to find it. If you check back in a few days, I hope to have an answer.

There was also Robin Hood The Movie, which started with the first episode, and spliced together bits and pieces through the archery contest, Robin defending Marion for murder, etc.
