Thanks so much jaysea2 for the heads up on this most memorable film ( watching it right now ) . I actually haven't watched this one since the 1980's ( it was on one of those local TV Channels back in the day ) . I forgot that two of the actors from the original Twilight Zone were also in this film - Gig Young ( from the episode " Walking Distance " as character Martin Sloan ) and Robert Keith ( from the episode " The Masks " as character Jason Foster ) . Also actress Ethel Barrymore who I believe was the Great Aunt of actress Drew Barrymore too ? Let's not forget actor Alan Hale Jr. from the TV Show " Gilligan's Island " as The Skipper . Of course let's not forget our main stars Doris Day and Frank Sinatra quite an all star cast in this one .

Thanks for your comment, Ms-Zanadu. I'm watching it, too! Even though I know it almost by heart...I still love it.

You're most welcome jaysea2 . This is one of those movies that stay with us - always ( it's one we never tire of either ) . The excellent storyline and the wonderful all-star cast too . What more could we ask for of such a memorable classic movie ? I'm really glad TCM showed this one tonight . I only wished there was another showing of it soon but I checked the schedule no luck on that . I guess we will just have to keep another look out for it again in the near future . Thanks again jaysea2 for finding tonight's showing and posting it here too .

Ya know...I haven't seen it on TCM for a very long time. I only knew it was on because I saw the preview shown between movies the other day. I usually change the channel when a movie is over or I just leave the room. But TCM has so many interesting little "things" between movies that it's worth staying tuned just to see what they're going to show. I know I have Young at Heart on tape so I am able to see it even if it's not on TV. Glad you enjoyed it, Ms-Zanadu.
