Favorite Number

What is your favorite number? I have a hard time picking but my favorite has to be Mandy, that number has some of the best dancing I have ever seen on film. But I also have a soft spot for Sisters and the finale of White Christmas.

Being a huge Rosemary Clooney fan, so Love You Didn't Do Right By Me is my favorite. I love the style of that number! It's kind of campy and cool. All the numbers with Vera Ellen dancing are great. She was amazing. I love the dancing in Mandy, but the jokes and the idea of a minstrel show are a little off-putting. "What Do You Do With a General" is just lame. Bing Crosby is about as exciting as cardboard. Zero appeal as far as I'm concerned. "Choreography" is strange, but I get the references and Vera Ellen is awesome as always.

I've always had a soft spot for "Hi Hup." :)

Mandy is a favorite of mine. Clooney's solo, "Love,You Didn't Do Right By Me" is sensuous to me. Her voice is velvety in that number. Just gorgeous.

The one they sing about the General in the beginning and end of the movie.

Always thought that the Mr.Bones number was a rather bizarre one for this type of film.

Mandy is my favorite but Snow comes in a close second.

Count Your Blessings (Bing and Rosemary in glorious duet)
Sisters (Good hilarious musical fun)
Love, You Didn't Do Right By Me (Rosemary Clooney was masterful in that one)
