Where to get it?

Does anybody know where I would go to get a copy of this movie on either VHS or DVD?
I would be eternally grateful fo rany help anybody can offer?

Thanks,

For a long time, I had the same problem you did: I couldn't find a copy of "Tonight's the Night" anywhere.

But after visiting this IMDB entry for the film, for the first time I learned that it was made and released in the UK under the title "Happy Ever After". And when you search for that title, you can find new DVD copies all over the place!

I found them on Ebay, Amazon.co.uk (as well as Amazon.com), and many other sellers.

However, note that all of those DVDs are in the European DVD Region 2 and PAL format, so if you're in a different region (e.g., the U.S. and Canada are in Region 1 and use the NTFS format instead of PAL), you have two options:

(1): You either have to watch it on a multi-region DVD player (of which there are a great many -- see the list of DVD Player and Blu-ray Player region codes at http://www.videohelp.com/dvdhacks),

or, as I intend to do when I get my copy...

(2): Convert the Reg 2/PAL DVD to Reg 1/NTFS DVD format on my computer, so I can play it on any Region 1 DVD player. One of many good guides to perform that conversion can be found here: How to convert a PAL DVD to a NTSC DVD using TMPGEnc Plus 2.5x at http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/241000-How-to-convert-a-PAL-DVD-to- a-NTSC-DVD-using-TMPGEnc-Plus-2-5x

Enjoy!
