i love the noise the ants make

I also thought this is a good detail of the movie... very eerie indeed...
And another detail which I found quite good is that the ants just have "the right size": The thought of a medium-sized ant small enough to hide behind a shed in my garden, or in the neighbour room of a hotel apartment (but still, big and aggressive enough to tear me in pieces within some seconds!) frightens me much more than if there was just one big monster (like Tarantula, for example - because these very big beasts could not hide anywhere).
