Loved it!

Saw this yesterday for the first time, and I was highly surprised at how high quality it felt. I was expecting a schlocky monster flick. The humor also worked, which I found shocking. It felt... modern. Or should I say, not-outdated. Holds up remarkably well. It often felt like something from the '80s more so than the '50s to me.

On another note, I love how they worked the movie's title into the film, with that girl starting to shout "Them!" repeatedly. That's something I didn't expect from a '50s production. Apart from her acting, it was far from corny. Brilliant work here. I suppose I've learned a lesson: my prejudice is unwarranted, as prejudice so often is.

Will be checking out more oldies for sure.

Very good, Louis. Short, but pointless.
