My absolute favorite sci-fi.

The music at the beginning is phenomal, it build up to a great tension, intros the music guy "Bronislau Kaper" a few others and then a smooth transition to the desert.


This movie as a little kid showed me the difference between a good movies & not so hot i.e. The Giant Mantis. I remember watching stuff like the giant crab & trying to figure out why it did not quite compare to this. Probably had 1/10 budget, I like The Crab Monster thing two bbut it ain't quite the same.

Every single person in this movies was a good actor, the police staion in LA w/ the drunks & woman & the alcoholic ward guys were excellent, "STOP, MY ACHING HEAD!".

I watch this movie about once a month, it really is fun to watch in every way.

OK she just screamed ITS THEM!, gotta run.

It is an all-time classic.
