Amazing shoe action

I'll give Kathleen Crowley credit, she could convincingly run in high heels and a tight skirt!!! And do it for miles too, with never a peep of complaint. Amazing girl that Kathleen!

I'm sure this was a skill most 50s 2nd string actresses had to practice, if nothing else, to escape the casting couch.

As for the movie - some of the scenes of abandoned streets were very effective. Shame the monsters weren't. Guess you can't have everything!

I purchased it recently. Katherine is just so beautiful in the film. The extras on the DVD were great, and really loved hearing Cohen doing the commentary, and enjoyed the little tribute to him.

Katherine has a darker look in this films, I'm more familiar with the "Katherine" from Curse of the Undead, from Maverick, and 77 Sunset Strip. This is a little different Katherine, but still, she is truly most awesome !!!

I'd guess it was "Let's get this scene over with so I can get out of these shoes!"

Given the budget, it was probably fortunate for her that all the scenes were more than likely shot only once!

Calf-length pencil skirts and high heel shoes were very popular in the 1950s.

All the women who have ever appeared in a 1950s horror/sci-fi movie wore tight, pencil skirts with high heels.

I never saw a woman in a 1950s horror/sci-fi movie wear pants.

How do you know she escaped that couch?
