Richard Reeves

Richard Reeves starred in so many shows in his career, but we know very little about him. It states in IMDB that he died of cirrosis of the liver. Does anyone know more information about this fine actor? Did he have a family? Was he an alcoholic? What was he like socially?

Sucks that the writers killed him 30 seconds before the rescue too. And they made him look kind of like a coward running up a ladder even though he was really the hero who saved the other couple! He got zero respect, he was my favorite of the film when I watched it as a kid!

Richard Reeves (August 10, 1912, New York City – March 17, 1967, Northridge, Los Angeles) also billed as Dick Reeves, was an American B-movie actor best known for playing henchmen and thugs in dozens of low-rent productions from the 1930s to the 1960s and TV shows in the 1950s. He was also in an Elvis Presley movie as a cop.
