I know you need to be able to suspend reality and stretch your imagination when watching a movie, but preferring Debbie Reynolds to Anne Francis is beyond me lol

Well, how about a 50-year-old Dick Powell playing the part of a 35year-old. Didn't they have any younger actors working then?
The differences in their ages was very, very apparent. Debbie Reynolds was 22 and looked 17. Dick Powell looked way older than 35.

I believe Anne Francis was playing Isabella as a nasty, cold-hearted, histrionic, narcissistic bitch. Susan was the opposite of the Isabella character.

I had to quit in the middle of this movie because it was making me sick. Like others said, he looked way older than 35 and even if he hadn't, she was underage...ugh, just creepy. I didn't know we were supposed to root for them as a couple.......he looked like her father. Not at all what I expected.
