Opening Credit For Iron Eyes Cody

I am watching Sitting Bull again in THIS TV right now.

I noticed that, in the opening credits, it says:

TECHNICAL ADVISOR........ IRON EYES CODY (Famous TV Star)

I have never seen a credit like that before, "famous TV star."

As has been noted in previous posts, the famous TV star wasn't actually a real indian. He just played one on TV and in the movies.
