Fly Simon Fly......
The best scenes in the movie were the ones when Simon went mad and tried to fly. These were good scenes for Virginia too. She begs Simon to " Wear the cloak and live " ..." Simon , Simon don't fool yourself , wear the cloak and live!!!!" she says. After Simon falls to his death. They take Virginia to the top of the tower and just throw her off. After seeing this move around 1954 I read the book...and never found any reference to the tower scene. I guess they just added that to liven up the picture.
