Added to The Definitive Action Romance List

I've made a list of recommended Action Romance movies and Secret of the Incas's in it:
http://www.imdb.com/list/ls003878963/

What do you think?
Got any more similar movies?

I keep clicking on the link and nothing happens!

I disagree with you, though. "Secret of the Incas" has hardly any action and there is little romance either. Harry Steele is an unshaven scumbag who milks every woman he meets for what he can get out of them.
Hardly a great romantic then.

hey OswaldshotKennedy! weird about the link, try to copy it manually then.

The movie does have some action in it and I think it's the most action you can expect from 1954, It's ok though because I rated the action only 3/5 in this movie.

But as for the romance part (which I gave 5/5), it's true he's a troubled man, but this is exactly one of the reasons the romance is so thrilling! And it's quite clear Elena is madly attracted to him, too, and they do end up together lucky for them...

btw just saying, Edward Cullen and Christian Grey are not less troubled than him. XDDD

I think it is quite obvious that Harry and Elena had a tumble in the jungle when they were by the camp fire. So doesn't that actually count as action and romance?

reply

Sorry, Heston's arse going up and down on Nicole Maurey doesn't really qualify as "action".

Thirty minutes into the movie and it's set a record for nothing happening of any sort. Heston looks perpetually drunk and except for the outfit bears little resemblance to Indiana Jones. Hope it improves.

Are you real?

So, in your opinion "Heston looks perpetually drunk" in the film!

What the hell kind of medication are you on, mam13143?

In my opinion he looks totally bored with this pic. And I think Heston was a truly great actor. Take another look at it the next time it's on.

Oh, and I never forget to take my meds.

I am dismayed that you think Heston looks bored and drunk(?)in SECRET OF THE INCAS, mam13143, His portrayal of the sleazy schemer Harry Steele is actually his best pre-Moses performance, in my opinion. How did you come to determine that Heston looks fed up with the film then?
