Was this a book or play before a film?
I know this is based on actual events, but can anybody tell me if there was a book published or if this was a play before it was an actual film?
Nope, it wasn't a play or a book----just a collaborative project bwt some the Hollywood Ten (who all got blacklisted, along with virtually everyone who worked on the film) and the real-life NM union members featured in the film.
