I just joined this message board and I'm watching Rogue Cop right now on TCM (Darkness after Dawn is the only reason to get up early on Saturdays!). What do you like about this film?

I watched it this morning, 4/23/2008, and I liked everything about it too!
I just wish it was available on DVD.
Robert Taylor had such wonderful screen presence!

Gritty performances, film noir.
shareYes, great story, gritty performances, film noir atmosphere -- and extra something from great casting of Anne Francis (thereafter chronically underrated by her studio, MGM), Robert Ellenstein and others -- and of course casting against type of Robert Taylor, who I always thought was the better performer up against much-vaunted Greta Garbo in Camille (1936)!
