I really enjoyed this movie, and Taylor's performance. The only problem was his hairpiece! They made his hairline so low, and really overdid his famous widow's (widower's?) peak. I kept pushing my hair back off my forehead during all his scenes.

Fine movie, though.

Taylor didn't have a hairpiece -- You could tell he was thinning slightly at the front even since Quo Vadis three years earlier. Widow's peaks irritate me too -- want to shave Dick Powell's back to a normal hairline every time I see him.
