Marilyn: The Premiere Collection

When I purchased this excellent collection of Monroe's films at Fox and United Artists from the 1950s and 1960s, I was astonished to discover that River of No Return was not included. Was this an oversight? RONR was a very popular film and remains so, is aired frequently on television and features one of Monroe's most virile leading men, Mitchum. Living where I do, in Calgary, Alberta, it's a short drive up to Banff, where many scenes were filmed on location, and where you can still encounter photos of Monroe during her time in and around Banff. Well, at least the film is available as a single DVD. It may not be Marilyn's best film, but it's terrific fun and a film I can enjoy over and over again.
