Riot in Cell Block 11 vs. Escape from Alcatraz

Which of Don Siegel's classic prison films do you feel is the best? In my opinion it's too close to call based on the movies themselves, but I'd probably have to give Riot a slight edge since it was just as good, but with a far lower budget.
