Not Scott's Best

I'm normally a big fan of Randolph Scott but this film was very average by his standards. No, the star of this film was Wayne Morris as Tubb the Deputy. He added a good deal of interest and a bit of comedic relief.

The rest was pretty ordinary fare. Townsfolk against one man because they don't want to, or are too stupid to believe the truth. You get the idea.

Watch out for the scenery in the 1st reel, it's stunning. Sadly, the only thing that is stunning in this disappointing film.
