What I remember...

Violin Concerto in E minor op.64 By Felix Mendelssohn (in the car driving to Zurich)
Something by Chopin
Liebestraum n. 3 by Franz Liszt
Violin Concerto in D major op.35 By Peter I. Tchaikovsky
Piano Concerto in C minor By Sergei Rachmaninoff
Gypsy Air by Pablo de Sarasate

Every parting from you is like a little eternity.

Did you notice the Schumann Carnaval Op. 9 and the Scriabin Etude Pathetique?
Both of them performed by Claudio Arrau!
The Schumann was one of his war-horses, and he recorded it several times.
But the Scriabin is a treasure: it is the ONLY recorded Scriabin he left,
and the same for the Rachmaninoff.
I think Arrau was not yet famous at the time, and he needed the money and
the publicity. Pity he never recorded the complete Rachmaninoff Concerto,
(he claimed the also performed the Third Concerto, in his 'Conversations
with Joseph Horowitz) but no surviving recording of it exists.
The 'Something' by Chopin you mentioned is the 'Butterfly' Etude.
