Free Sunday Screenings of this and other Italian Films in Northern NJ!

For those of you who live in the northern New Jersey or New York City area, there is a series of free Italian movie screenings being jointly sponsored by Federazione Molfettesi d’America and Società Unita, in cooperation with Union City Mayor Brian Stack and the Union City Board of Education. The screenings are being held at the Jose Marti School at 1800 Summit Avenue in Union City, NJ every Sunday at 5pm from October 16th to November 6th. (Use the url http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?addr=1800+Summit+Ave.&csz=Union+City%2C+NJ&country=us&new=1&name=&qty= for maps and directions.)

On two of these nights there will be two different movies shown back to back. Admission and parking will be free. There will not be any refreshments, so bring your own. The films will be in the original Italian language. “La Vita è Bella” (“Life is Beautiful”) and “Il Postino” (“The Postman”) will definitely be subtitled, but I’m not positive about the other four; I’m assuming they will be.
