I started folding my laundry when they got back from Switzerland -- I saw Rock get doctor-ed up and so on, but it wasn't clear about Jane's blindness. Rather great-looking movie - but kinda long.

shareyep. personally I agree that she is dying at the end. it seemed that way - "from tomorrow we will be with each other forever" or what ever Bob says to Helen- why not say from now on!?
shareI think she got her sight back. She was supposed to keep still, not get excited and rest, after all she had just woken up after the op. Doc didn't want her to get excited, that's why he said from tomorrow we'll be together..to give her time to rest... that's my opinion of it anyway.
shareI got the impression that she was regaining her sight at the end. But I was interested to read thoughts on this thread about a possible ambiguous ending for this movie.
