Doris vs. Cindy

As Shirley Feeney in TV's LAVERNE & SHIRLEY, Cindy Williams had much less classy lines and comic routines than Doris but the blossom in Cindy's cheek,
her figure, her bearing, her comic timing, her reported high ideals in real life,and Shirley's love for animals were all irresistibly reminiscent of Doris.

I didn't see this film (on TV) until I had been watching LAVERNE & SHIRLEY for some time. For me, the name of the Day character in LUCKY ME was an incredible coincidence.

Hmm...I can see some elements of Doris in Cindy Williams. Never thought of it until now, but I can kind of see it.
